The World in 2017 App Reviews

Like others who have commented, I cant load the "free" Version that was promised to me. I too called customer support and was told they would resolve the issue. That call was placed over a week ago with no result. This is very disappointing and will probably affect my subscription to the Economist going forward.

Maybe those giving poor reviews didnt use their subscribers code to release access to this great digital content. As much as I enjoy The Economist, The World In is absolutely my favorite annual publication. With their app I can read and re-access that fabulous content anywhere all year long.

I was supposed to earn coins by down loading this app but no it didnt give me nothing..terrible

More thoughtful, excellent reporting from Economist on a wide range of interesting topics. But getting started with the app was confusing, had some tech trouble. Why make this an entire separate app and not just a special issue?

Cannot get my account. Loading slowly. No flexibility. Just frustrating.

Brand new iPhone 6S Plus and I cant get past the white screen of death to buy the paid version. What gives?

Ive subscribed to the Economist for years. I enjoy reading it and the content in The World In.... I had to write them twice to get my access code. The first time I gave them my name, zip, and email address. It was not enough. I wrote them again with the additional info and THEN they told me the Access code is in an insert in the print issue Id already received. Why couldnt they have told me that the first time??? So I search for the insert. And search and search and finally find my "unique" access code. It shouldnt be this difficult.

Seriously. How can you not integrate this app with my account? Why do I need a "voucher" which I emailed you about to get and never received a reply. Either my subscription entitles me to this issue or not. I should just be able to use my web account credentials to log in and retrieve my issue. Get with it and get the single account login going.

Is this free for digital subscribers, or not?

Navigation is a problem. Aside from that obstacle, I love the content. Always have!

I bought this sorry liberal App to get some credits for a game I play and guess what. NO CREDIT WAS GIVEN. Really disappointed with I-Tunes at the moment. This WSJ Liberal rag is worthless, unless you like to drink Kool-Aid.

The Economist once again sets a standard of excellence with the world in. My only grievance is a want more! I love the break down by region and topic so that by the time you reach the end, you feel you have been left with the imprint of what to look for around the world in the coming year.

I could never get the code with the backwards "E" to work. I wrote them and never received a fix. I read The Economist regularly and felt this issue was about average compared to others
