Nice cool very good
I strongly believe my 87yo grandma could write the same crap while shopping veggie at a local market, amd I tell you why: 1-All articles are opinions based on nothings. Facts and figures are misleading, taken from same British analysts at the Economist. 2-There is a complete lack of unbiased intelligence. 3-All these charts lack of information on x/y axis... Back to basics guys! 4-The UPS insert in the middle is ridicoulous, a bailed out bank giving us suggestions on how to invest? Ahaha thats ridiculous. 5-"Outlook is a little less gloomy" ????? UK HELLO wake up, you are in recession! Stamp this into your mind, Britain is not better than the rest of Europe. 6-And the most funny thing is that this booklet is available also at stands.... So whats the sense to go digital if you then keep printing and printing...? Just crap, I see why its free.
Great app. One flaw was that after some time, it started to change the layout of the articles. It was initially similar to the more elegant layout of the printed edition, but then the text would fill the whole screen and, worse, when scrolling up and down it would instead go left or right, turning the page. Another problem was that when enlarging the images, sometimes the ends would be cut making it difficult to read some figures.
Good!
By far the most outstanding news journal available today.
The design is very nice. Each article has been made to be very interactive for the reader.
Even if you subscribe to Economist and get the paper copy of this report for free, they still want $8 for the app version. Pathetic.
I love economist. I have full subscription and have received a printed copy. But. They ask me to pay $7 for this. Why?
This app should recognize my subscription to the Economist just like the app I use to read the weekly publications.
Great app with great content. Those who whine about not having access to it without paying should know that a subscription has never covered The World in. You used to be able it only in hard copy for almost double the price of this app.
I was glad to find this app companion for the issue I received in the mail as a subscriber yesterday. Happy to be able to play audio of the issue, as that is how I "read" The Economist. But this app plays audio at a sluggish speed. It sounds like the narrators are sleepy or drunk. The main Economist app lets me play audio at 2x speed, and lets me make playlists. Why not this app? Also, I dont see why I have to pay for the app if I receive the print edition for free as a subscriber. This is not worthy of The Economist.
Excellent program for iOS
